There’s something special about a day at the MCG, and this one was no exception.
Thanks to Carlton Football Club and Hyundai, and Hyundai Help For Kids, families from our brain cancer community were treated to an unforgettable experience at the Carlton v Melbourne clash.
Hyundai pledged to donate $500 for every Carlton goal — and the Blues delivered, kicking 11 goals to raise $5,500 in support of vital brain cancer research.
But beyond the scoreboard, it was the moments shared that made the day truly memorable.
One of the highlights was our legacy ambassador Billy, who confidently stepped onto the ground to perform the coin toss alongside Max Gawn and Patrick Cripps.
Our brain cancer community families and team also proudly formed the guard of honour, with kids joining players and mascots to run through the banner — an experience they won’t soon forget.
From the electric atmosphere to the once-in-a-lifetime opportunities on the field, the day was filled with smiles, excitement, and meaningful connection.
While the Dees took the win, it was a powerful reminder that days like these go far beyond the final score.
A heartfelt thank you to Carlton and Hyundai for making it all possible, and for helping create moments of joy while supporting research that changes lives
