Supporting families by organising and funding emotionally invaluable rehabilitation therapies and home assistance. During treatment Connor had weekly music and yoga therapy on top of his standard rehabilitation. These programs give comfort to both the patient and the family are often not covered by insurance.

Inspiring the next generation of brain cancer practitioners & researchers. Through awareness programs, PHD Scholarships and youth engagement activities, we’re putting brain matters on the map.
oUR mISSION
Brain cancer is the most fatal of all childhood cancers. Current clinical treatments only help 50% of children, but leave 90% with lifelong physical and mental impairments.
This is why brain tumours are so devastating, and why we’re on a mission to change the odds and make brain tumours go the way of the dinosaurs.
WHAT IS AN EPENDYMOMA
This is they type of brain tumour Connor had. Ependymoma is a disease in which malignant (cancer) cells form in the tissues of the brain and spinal cord. The brain controls vital functions such as memory and learning, the senses (hearing, sight, smell, taste, and touch), and emotion.
The spinal cord is made up of bundles of nerve fibers that connect the brain with nerves in most parts of the body.
